When the required textbook and course materials for a class have been chosen, instructors must place an order with the BYU Store. All orders are submitted online at booklist.byu.edu. If you have questions about ordering textbooks and course materials for a class to be taught at the BYU Salt Lake Center, please contact Carol-Lynne Malin at 801-933-9435 or email@example.com.
Deadlines for submission of course material are governed in part by the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), which was passed and signed into law on August 14, 2008. The law requires higher education institutions that receive Title IV federal funding to inform students about course material and costs within a reasonable time before the start of the semester. BYU has set deadlines so it can post the information in time to be HEOA compliant. Please submit course material information by the deadline or as soon as possible. All materials that contribute to student expenses must be submitted to the BYU Store, even if it will not be the reseller of the material. This includes textbooks, packets, CDs, DVDs, e-books, access codes, etc. For more information on HEOA, please visit the BYU Office of General Counsel webpage.
